Start with the footprint. Then make space to actually use it.

A counter organizer can fit beside the sink and still make the bathroom harder to use. The real test is whether you can reach the faucet, open a drawer and put an item back without moving everything else. For a small daily collection, a shallow caddy is often a more practical starting point than a tall tower.

BEFORE YOU BUY

What to measure

  1. Measure usable width and depth, excluding the basin overhang and faucet sweep.
  2. Mark the proposed footprint with paper and leave room in front of any drawer.
  3. Measure your tallest bottle and widest palette; outside measurements do not establish internal fit.

How to choose

Editorial interpretation of the listed specifications—not hands-on findings.

Choose the constraint first

If depth is the limiting dimension, the Viva Compact is the strongest starting point among these examples: its listed depth is 3¾ inches. If you prefer enclosed storage, the Sorbus drawers offer that format, but their usable internal size needs confirmation. The Viva Large is a useful comparison for people who have more width and want a mirror; it is not a small-counter substitute simply because it shares the Viva name.

Keep the daily kit small

Set aside the products you use on an ordinary morning. Leave occasional palettes and refills in existing storage. A smaller organizer is easier to choose when it is not expected to hold every beauty item you own. Do the paper-footprint check with the drawer area included, then use the sink normally before deciding.

Where these options fall short

Open sections do not provide a lid over brushes. Enclosed drawers still need opening clearance, and stackability is not permission to build an unlimited tower. None of the cited specifications establishes splash-proof storage. Keep containers clear of standing water and follow the maker’s care directions.

THE PRACTICAL CHOICE

Choose the Viva Compact for shallow depth, consider drawers for enclosed sorting, and move up to the Viva Large only after checking its full footprint.
