Open holders make it easy to find a brush. A covered holder puts a barrier between stored brushes and the surrounding room, but it also adds a lid to remove and an internal-height limit. Choose the daily motion
Sigma’s two-piece cup can stand open as two holders and snap closed for travel. Viva Compact mixes deep sections with storage for other cosmetics. The Sorbus carousel provides upper slots alongside adjustable shelves. If you keep only brushes in this space, extra shelves may add bulk without solving your problem.
A lid is not a cleaning system
Covered storage does not make a dirty brush clean, and an open holder should not be treated as a drying method without checking your brush maker’s instructions. Put brushes away dry and avoid forcing bristles against a lid. We have not measured internal clearance or tested dust exclusion for any of these products.
Read capacity claims carefully
The Sigma page says it fits a range of full-size brushes but gives no count. Sorbus lists 15 upper slots, which is a compartment count rather than proof that 15 large brushes fit comfortably. Viva publishes no brush capacity. Sigma was sold out when checked, so it is a reference option whose availability needs rechecking.
For covered transport, investigate the Sigma cup’s internal fit. For daily mixed storage, compare Viva’s shallow footprint with the carousel’s shelf space.
